I am an educator, instructional designer, and training leader with a career rooted in hospitality, workforce development, and adult learning. My work focuses on designing learning experiences that respect what adults already know, connect theory to practice, and prepare leaders to serve people well in real-world environments.
Across industry and higher education, I have led the design and implementation of leadership development programs, manager pipelines, train-the-trainer initiatives, and university-level coursework. Whether working with frontline supervisors, executive leaders, or college students, my approach is consistent: learning must be relevant, applied, and meaningful in the moment.
I believe adults learn best when they can connect new ideas to their past experiences and clearly understand how learning applies to their lives and work right now.
This belief guides everything I design. I emphasize experiential learning, case-based discussions, reflection, and practical application. Learning is not treated as a one-time event, but as a continuous process that supports growth, confidence, and performance over time.
Rather than focusing solely on content delivery, I help learners make sense of information, apply it intentionally, and grow into thoughtful, capable leaders.
My professional background bridges hospitality operations and academic instruction. I have designed and led leadership and management programs for national organizations, developed apprenticeship and credentialed training pathways, and created university-level courses that integrate theory with applied leadership practice.
This educator-practitioner lens allows me to design learning that is both rigorous and practical. I value evidence-based instructional design, but I also understand the realities of fast-paced operational environments where learning must be efficient, accessible, and immediately applicable.
At the core of my work is servant leadership. I believe leadership development begins with care for people, clarity of expectations, and accountability through coaching. My role as an educator and training leader is not to position myself as the expert in the room, but to create environments where others can learn, reflect, and lead with confidence.
Learning, like hospitality, is ultimately about service. When done well, it strengthens individuals, teams, and organizational culture.
I design learning experiences that help people grow, lead, and serve with purpose.
